Mr. Kensington. I don't doubt your name is also Phineas Kensington, however, the artist who has been represneted here claims propriety of his own identity. If there is further questions about identity, you muct wrangle those differences out with Mr. Kensington. The VVVSS is a very casual blog and is not a source of either income or acclaim for its authors. So, get over it.

Who has been using my name to pen stories. Very silly stuff. I do not appreciate being used as a tool of mockery. Poetry is very serious, and the serious artist would not mock, or purport to be an artist. Please take this piece of drivel down or I shall have to establish a counter-insurgency to put an end to your silliness.

Glenn,

This blog is not associated with Patricia, although I did have a lovely chat with her on Sunday. Unfortunately, I do not have any contact information for her besides her article in "The Review." I would encourage you, with great enthusiasm, in encouraging your daughter. The world needs more writers. Especially writers who think and challenge the world. In terms of local groups, there are a few, bust most, I think, are adult groups. You may check the web and see if there are any young writers groups that have the "cool" factor that may attract the attention of a young, burgeoning writer. Good Luck!

Sincerely,

Josh Erdahl

Patricia, I read about you in the Columbian article today about an event I was unaware of but wished I had been. I'm hoping this is an easy way to contact you. The thing is I have a 14 year old daughter that I believe I should be encouraging the pursuit of writing. I'm looking for local avenues for doing that. My daughter is an avid reader. A couple of times we have stumbled across some short excerpts that we think she may have written but cannot be for sure because they seemed very good for someone of her age. She never shared these with us we just happened across them. Additionally she took one of those tests (not sure how much stock to put in them) that tries to direct you on what you may be good at as an adult career. Hers came up writer. She is very smart and does very well academically (I'm thinking top 5 in her class). My issue is she is the typical teen and doesn't really want to hear what mom and dad have to say. I've recently written and organization called Write Girl in LA and they have given me some pointers but when I saw you mentioned in the article I thought you may have some pointers from a local viewpoint. I can be contacted at email wabatson "at" comcast "dot" net. I would love to hear from you. Also if you know of any upcoming or annual events we should attend to get her interested I would love to hear about them.

Thank you for your comment. I am trying to re-new interest in the blog. If you know anyone who is interested in writing we are always accepting submissions. And, yes, Halfway is very mysterious. I often wonder what comes next. I doubt any human on earth has every really laid a finger on it.

Michael,

I have been very remiss in attending to VVVSS. Thank you for your interest. I have no e-mail system at this time. I am a writer trying to get into grad school and try to do the most with my time. I will work to keep all interested readers informed!

Again, thank you for visiting!
